		<description>It&#039;s not entirely true that no mammal consumes milk past infancy. I grew up on a goat dairy and it&#039;s not uncommon for some does to self-nurse. If a doe is left to rear her own kids, they will continue to nurse into adulthood. I&#039;ve seen a 2 year old doe nursing her own mother while her 2 kids nursed her.  Also, don&#039;t ever leave a bucket of milk within reach because they LOVE to drink it.  I have heard of self nursing in cows, but I don&#039;t know how common it is.</description>
